TH700 Lockup
Hej!
Ăr ny hĂ€r pĂ„ forumet i och med att jag precis har köpt min allra första IROC. 
Nu undrar jag följande. Jag har en nyrenoverad TH700 och det kÀnns skönt. DÄ vet man att den hÄller ett tag. Men han som renoverade lÄdan sa att det lÄg konstant +12V till lockup'en. Han menade att jag borde kolla upp det.
Mina frÄgor Àr ...
1. Vad kan hÀnda om man har konstant +12V till lockup'en?
2. Hur kopplar man enklast lockup'en?
3. Vad styr lockup'en?
4. Ăr lockup'en konstant enabled om man har +12V?
MÄnga frÄgor men jag hoppas pÄ nÄt fiffigt svar.

Det Àr ju inte bra om det ligger 12v pÄ lockupen hela tiden dÄ lÄser den vÀl upp hela tiden vad jag förstÄr.
Du borde nog dra ur kontakten till lockupen vid lÄdan om du ska köra med bilden tills du fixat felet.
Enklast Àr ju att koppla den via en strömbrytare, men kolla om kanske det Àr just det nÄgon tidigare Àgare gjort, se efter om du hittar nÄgon strömbrytare i bilen dÀr du kan bryta spÀnningen till lockupen.
Exakt hur lockupen styrs törs jag inte svara pÄ men bÀst Àr att ta reda pÄ hur den ska fungera och koppla den sÄ, finns sÀkert nÄn hÀr som kan ge dig ytterligare tips om hur du kollar den.

Lockupen styrs(jordas) av ECM.
DÀr ligger +12V via bromskontakten till lÄdan, dvs nÀr du bromsar bryts spÀnningen.
SÄ +12V till lÄdan hela tiden vid tÀndning
- Jordas av ECM beroende av hastighet/vxl./TPS.
- Avaktivers av ECM eller nÀr du bromsar, dÄ +12v bryts

Aha ... sÄ att +12V till lÄdan Àr alltsÄ helt i sin ordning dÄ?
Finns det nÄgot enkelt sÀtt att kontrollera att allt fungerar och Àr kopplat rÀtt till vÀxellÄdan? Vill inte rÄka ut för ett till lÄdras i Är.

LÄdor frÄn -82 till -87 sÄ styrs lock up'en hydrauliskt i ventilhuset inte av ECM
Ventilhusen pÄ -87 och fram till sena -88or har en "blindplugg" i ventilhuset och kan byggas om till hydraulisk styrning av lock up'en.
Det hÀr kan vara bra att veta om man tÀnkt anvÀnda lÄdan i en "gammal" bil.
